Rebekah is an old soul with a contemporary, honest voice who puts a new face on the struggles women face as they seek to live a life of meaning. Through emotive writing and speaking, Rebekah reveals her own battles to overcome anxiety, depression, and consumer impulses—challenging women to discover and boldly pursue the calling God has for them. As a self-confessed mess, Rebekah wears her heart on her sleeve, a benefit to friends and readers alike.

Alongside her husband, Gabe, Rebekah serves as cofounder of Q Ideas, a non-profit that convenes and equips Christians to influence culture. As founder of Q Women, Rebekah’s passion is to embolden women to live their unique calling as they thoughtfully engage faith, relationships, and their community.

She’ll share with us from her most recent book, You Are Free: Be Who You Already Are. Topics may include: 

• Overcome the exhaustion of meeting others expectations and rest in the joy of God’s freedom.
• Release stress and anxiety to uncover the peace that comes from abiding in God’s presence.

Linda Bishop is a teacher and mentor passionate about encouraging women to understand what matters most – that God’s love is unconditional, personal and life transforming. By weaving together her personal experiences, scripture and practical principles, Linda invites women into a deeper, personal understanding of this powerful love.

Currently serving as Director of Women in Leadership for EFCA West, she supports women in church leadership positions through training, consulting, gatherings and spiritual mentoring relationships.  Additionally, for over 20 years she has worked with women on issues of identity, healthy relationships, and how to exchange messy theology for the good news of God’s Word.

During our time together she’ll share with you about opportunity and calling. When God draws our hearts to participate in His Kingdom there are times when opportunities and resources don’t align.  Have I misread my calling?  Is my voice not necessary or even needed?  If there are limitations vocationally how do I express the gifts and desires that God has uniquely designed in me?  Cultivating a long range and Kingdom minded vision for your role in serving the Bride of Christ requires thoughtfulness, obedience and faith.  Jesus has entrusted the work of His Church to all His followers.  In this session we’ll dive below the surface to look into these circumstances and explore ways to live out our calling throughout our life.
