Senior Pastor, LCBC Church
Born in Dallas, Texas, David was raised in France until the age of seven. His family moved to California and then back to Dallas for his middle school and high school years. David is a graduate of Texas Tech University with a degree in Business Administration, holds a Master’s Degree in Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary, as well as a Doctoral degree in Ministry from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, in Chicago, Illinois. He served for 12 years at Scofield Memorial Church, Dallas, as the Minister to Adults which coincided with his 10 years of service as the Director of Scofield’s “Camp El Har,” also in Dallas.
David began serving in 1991 as Pastor of LCBC Church (Lives Changed By Christ) in Manheim, Pennsylvania. Over the past 25 years LCBC has grown from one campus location, a weekly attendance of 150 people and a staff of one to 9 campus locations, a weekly attendance of over 15,000 people and a staff of over 210.
As LCBC continues to grow, David reminds the church of its goal – seeing Lives Changed By Christ. That responsibility grows as the church grows – including reaching beyond the campus walls into Central Pennsylvania and by working to transform one community on each continent of the world. Because of its work around the world, in 2008 David and LCBC received “The Courageous Leadership” award from the Willow Creek Association and World Vision.
David and his wife Ruth live in Lititz, Pennsylvania and have two grown children, Justin, a graduate of Lancaster Bible College living in Pittsburgh with his wife Laura, and Ashleigh, who works with Student Ministry at LCBC Ephrata Campus.
